The social lesson planning for this semester is divided into three main parts. We hope our members can enhance their abilities!
1. Southeast Asian Culture
In addition to achieving the goal of Taiwan's New Southbound Policy, Southeast Asia is also the main location for our clubs to go out over the years. This year, we are expected to invite Migrants, Brilliant Times Southeast Asia-themed bookstores, etc. to give speeches. Members can more truly appreciate the local culture and the experience of the lecturers, and then continue to learn and enrich themselves.
2. Enhancing Courses
This school year, it is planned to invite relevant lecturers and planning books to write lecturer speeches. I hope that the service providers can have more complete capabilities. In addition to being applied to services, they can also be brought out of the school. These soft powers can be used to resolve workplace problems so that members can work in this self-growth during this period.
3. Sustainability Goals Course
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are values that have been advocated in recent years. We have seen many issues in many service processes, such as the lack of quality education, the impact of climate change, etc. These are all we cannot deny. Moreover, the conditions at our service locations are usually worse than in Taiwan, and these issues cannot be delayed. Therefore, we invite relevant non-profit organizations or social enterprises to give speeches at the school, hoping to cultivate relevant concepts of members and contribute to sustainability.

〔 Normal service 〕
Last semester, due to the epidemic situation, we stopped normal services for a period of time. After assessing the risk, this year, we are expected to send our members to the migrant shelter to teach Chinese to migrant workers in English. According to past feedback, everyone was nervous at first, but after each session, there is still no end to it, and through interaction, I can get to know the migrant workers who also live on Taiwan soil, and achieve the purpose of helping others and themselves. It also enables members to experience the beauty of service, and then learn to care for and empathize with others.
About two cadres and two to five members each time
Feedback from the past:
When I was preparing the handout before the event, I was worried that the content of today would not be useful or too simple for them, but when I saw that they were all serious and happy to learn, I was less nervous. Hearing them open up and share with us what they do in their daily lives made me realize it was all worth it. Despite speaking different languages, we share the same happiness.
〔 Extracurricular Activities 〕
Arrangements to off-campus institutions for services from time to time, so that everyone can observe different institutions together, and then go out to play together after the end~
Feedback from past activities (Clean up):
It seems that the Sanxia River has been cleaned up, but the actual visit will find a lot of garbage hidden in the corners. It's really immoral to think that all the garbage has been littered, and it's really immoral to hide it for fear of being discovered by others. Those garbage may never be discovered and cause pollution.
When I was cleaning up the river, I met a father with two children, and he got up to clean up. Therefore, I feel that even children know the importance of environmental protection, and we adults should be better role models for them.

[ International Volunteer Symposium ]
In 2020, the new crown lung cancer epidemic struck, and the overseas volunteer services of various schools were forced to be interrupted. During the time when the services of various schools are suspended, it happens that we who have flown overseas to serve services can rethink the heart that we decided to start, and immerse and reflect on the difficulties and gains of our service experience!
Last year, we sincerely invited students from the International Volunteer Society of various schools to chat about their experiences and doubts about service, and then get to know our partners from various schools! Everyone in the photo is rethinking and finding direction in the discussion session, it's really rewarding~
