Yangming Nursing Center Activities

Time: 2 times per semester Saturday 8:00~12:00
Location: Yangming Nursing Center
The Yangming Nursing Center accommodates students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. Taking advantage of the volunteers who come here, they take the patients out for walks, playgroup exercises, and exercise their muscles and bones. While accompanying these lovely patients, we also learned to thank our parents and bring love to more people.

Parent-Child Character Bible Study Class

Time: Every Friday night from 6:00~9:00
Location: Business Building 207 212
Every Friday evening, teachers and volunteers will meet with the children to study classics at the Business building. The reading list for this semester is the Analects of Confucius, the Doctrine of the Mean, and Tang Poems. I hope to cultivate children's concentration and patience through the process of reading the Bible, and also train children to correctly articulate words. The after-school character education activities hope to bring correct values to children in a subtle way and learn to be a good child who is knowledgeable and polite from an early age.

Sanxia Junior High School 4Q Growth Camp

Time: Once a month (4 times in a semester) Saturday 8:00~12:00
Location: Sanxia Junior High School
4Q represents four quotients, namely IQ, AQ, EQ, and MQ. Volunteers came to Sanxia Junior High School for half a day on Saturday. In the main course, lecturers were invited to share with the students what 4Q is. The sub-course allows students to understand how 4Q should be implemented in daily life through lively group activities. After a semester of study, I believe that the volunteer and students have gained a lot.

Sunflower Bakery

Time: Every Wednesday 17:00~21:00
Location: Off-campus food group
Sunflower Bakery will make different desserts every week and hope to recruit more volunteers through this event.
